Inspired by traditional fishing lanterns from Gifu, Japan, it features a framework reminiscent of bamboo ribs, crafted using wood and covered with mulberry paper. This choice of paper softens and diffuses light evenly, creating a gentle, ambient glow. The lamp embodies the dual meaning of "Akari," representing both illumination and a lightweight aesthetic, making it a sophisticated lighting piece that merges cultural tradition with modern design.
Purchase instructions: This product undergoes a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue. As a result, you may notice minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade. Please be aware that this occurrence is considered normal and does not constitute a quality issue.
